Our release plans
Hey everyone! Our release was delayed due to a mess up on our end. I switched the cave's gamemode to take screenshots, and didn't end up changing it back. It's now fixed, but it wasn't earlier today when Steam took a look at the game.
We have re-submitted the game to Steam and should be approved early next week. Until then, you can get access to the game right now!

New LevelWe've added a new level called "The Sewers". It's an indoor map much smaller than The Cave, and has much more depth. Explore each room to uncover it's advantages and to plan your attack. Our plan is to get some feedback on how the level plays, and improve it as the game moves along.
Bug fixesHere are our fixes since the last update!
- Players now spawn when they join
- Switching to first person as the monster caused an infinite loop, fixed
- Monster damage fixed
- Players will be able to skip the intro movie in the next update
- Game was too dark and landscape popped with certain settings, fixed.
- Monster wasn't spawning in the right place
Known Issues- Can reload while clip is full
- Using ironsights while reloading causes some weird stuff to happen
- Too much bounce when rifle is fired from hip
- Shotgun fire particle has the wrong rotation
- Death sound plays more than once
- Sometimes the in-game menu doesn't allow you to press anything, have to alt+f4
- Need screen resolution options for fullscreen and windowed
- Monster glides a little while running
- Kills and deaths inside of the in-game menu are off
- Iron sights only work on the rifle
- Spamming r for reload can stop the reload animation
- Monster HUD doesn't correctly destroy itself sometimes
- UI doesn't spawn with monster sometimes after round end.
- Running and equipping the pistol make the pistol not appear in your hand
- On player join, sometimes the monster is unspawned.
- Random Crash we're in the process of fixing. Sometimes you get kicked from your session and the soldier HUD doesn't get removed. Have to exit game.
The Future
We're going to be squashing these bugs, and will update you on our progress as it moves along :)
Our goals for these next couple of weeks are to fix these bugs, improve gameplay and combat, and some major changes to the UI.
We're also going to be setting up a Trello board for everyone to see. This will give you insight on what we're working on and what's coming in the future for Mist of the Dark.
