What's new in Update 29

New Class – Tracker
With an elusive background, most information is sketchy at best about this enigmatic character. Corroborated from recorded dying words of his targets, camera footage and death scenes analysis, he has been dubbed the Tracker, based on the skills, gear and tactics employed in combat situation. Having acquired and adapted the latest tech, The tracker employs classic hunting tactics on the modern battlefield. Using a specially designed headset, he is able to visualize footstep traces and place track his target via a marker. To keep the distance and angle of approach to his advantage, the tracker uses a mechanized companion, very similar in behavior and purpose to a hunting hound, which he refers to as DOC. In a party, the tracker offers efficient military support deployment and extensive scouting abilities in anticipating the location of the enemy targets.

Tier 1-basic model
Tier 2- gains extra body protection
Tier 3 adds limbs cover
Tier 4 augments Head component with Nose module. Tracked enemies get chased beyond the visual radius
Tier 5 enhances claws module further increases the number or hits required from enemies to disengage an attacking dog.
Tier 6 modifies ears further extends the engage range to targets within an Audio Radius(23m)
Tier 7 evolves the body armor to include Exo-Skeleton reinforcements
Tier Prestige Alpha Dog ads a tail sensor. The dog routinely stops and searches for targets within the tail pulse radius. The dog’s attack is now fatal if the victim fails to break free from the engagement.
Tier SMART Prestige Beta Dog tunes the aggressiveness module causing the dog to engage a second time if it’s not destroyed

Track OPS
Get ready for a new special event hosted by The Tracker. Completing every challenge set in every chapter unlocks the class, along with the progress made within the event permanently. Challenges require achieving different objectives using the new class, which will be available temporarily to all participants, for the duration of the event, courtesy of the Tracker.
Each player starts out with the first 3 class skills unlocked and the Tier 1 of the primary weapon and Dog. Completing challenges earns Feral tokens which are used to get Tracker blueprints via Track OPS Pack.
In the Track OPS Market, Golden Tokens are used to purchase specific Tracker blueprints. They can be earned by completing specific challenges or occasionally, inside Track OPS packs.

Battle Royale

- Player limit increased to 70

Single Player Campaign
- Multiplayer matches started from the chapter screen no longer consume energy. Starting multiplayer matches from the main menu screen are now counted towards the Chapter progress

Balance Changes

Evil Eye Core:
Max Reveal Distance Rescale: Mark 1: 25m, Mark 2: 25m, Mark 3: 30m, Mark 4:30m, Mark 5: 35m
Mark 5 Duration Reduced from 5 seconds to 4.

Class Changes:

Marauder Class:
Following the extensive feedback on how strong the class is compared to others, we decided to touch on its survivability, due to the way it stacked with other damage reducing sources. The class is meant to thrive in intensive prolonged fights and scale on the back of repeated kills, but the passive survivability was indeed a bit high at spawn.
• Resilient Hunter Passive Skill:
Number of hits reduced: From 3 to 2 bullets blocked at Tier 1/ From 6 to 4 bullets blocked at Tier 2
Damage reduction scaled down: From 35% to 25% at Tier1/ From 35% to 30% at Tier 2.
• Blurry Vision Passive Skill
Damage reduction value reduced: From 10% to 5% at Tier 1/ From 15% to 8% at tier 2

Sapper Class:
Considering the versatility of placement for this particular turret, we understood from your feedback that it felt too strong in terms of damage output, while being hard to reach sometimes.

• Shotgun Turrets: ROF Decreased by ~30%
Kommander Class:
• Severance: Accuracy Nerfed → Shooting Cone Increased by ~10%.

Recon Class:
While Recon’s damage varies based on positioning, we noticed that most Recons opt for weapons from other classes when given the option, especially in terms of Prestige Tier.
Smart Prestige Tier WHISPERER: Min Damage Increased from 13 to 15. Max Damage Increased from 20 to 24.
Morph Class:
With the addition of a new class as well as feedback, we felt the Morph scaling factor was a bit too dependent on enemy classes, thus restricting certain playstyles/weapons for her.
• Powerups obtained via killing enemy players will now be random. [Previously it would depend on which weapon the enemy players has in hands]
• SMART Prestige Tier N.A.Z → Min Damage Increased from 18 to 21
• Prestige Tier RUIN → Min Damage Increased from 50 to 65R.Max Damage Increased from 65 to 80

Sniper Class:
Since we have repeatedly nerfed the No Scope playstyle on snipers in the past updates, a buff to quickscope kills felt required to compensate.
• Reduced Aim Down Sight transition duration.
New implementations:
• Added support for Steam Controller
• Players can now use mouse/keyboard and controller in parallel
• Deploy/Repair/Upgrade Turret is now mapped to the Y button
• Added the Sniper’s skill indicator for PC HUD

Bug fixes:
• Fixed various infrequent crashes in menus and during gameplay
• Fixed an issue that caused grenades to be unusable on controllers
• Fixed an issue where controller vibration will not stop on death
• Reduced controller sensitivity of RB/LB when changing loadout
• Fixed an issue in Chapter 5: Mission 4 where aiming is disabled if the game is interrupted
