Nanome 1.19 - The Whiteboard Update

Our latest software update brings new and improved tools for enhancing your Nanome experience. To see some of these updates in action, check out our product update reel.

NEW Whiteboard Tool

Every user can now pull up their own whiteboard to draw or write notes. Your personal whiteboard can also be made viewable for everyone in your workspace to see. You can also save your whiteboard as a PNG for access later. Definitely a great way for brainstorming ideas or taking notes during a VR meeting!

NEW Quick Prep Menu

With our new Quick Prep Menu, you can apply multiple plugins to structures already loaded in the room, or apply them prior to rendering new structures.

NEW Universal Rendering Pipeline

You’ll notice that the avatars, atoms, and surfaces may look slightly different. That’s because we’ve implemented a new rendering pipeline to improve our support for more device types. Be sure to check out our Quest 2 vs Quest 1 comparison video for more performance increases on the new headset!

NEW Advanced Export Menu

Accessible from the current Export Menu, our new Advanced Export Menu allows you to alter additional settings for structures you want to export. Modify items such as the file type, metadata grouping, and number of selected frames.

Custom Loading Settings

The Load Menu has been updated with custom loading settings that allow you to hide parts of a structure before bringing it into your room.

Mixed Reality (MR) Recording

We now have MR recording available using LIV integration. We’ve also implemented a toggle for the avatar visibility. Record videos with yourself superimposed into the VR environment.

These are just some of the key features in Nanome 1.19. Be sure to check out the full release notes at nanome.ai/setup!
