Nevermind v 0.01.52 Build Notes

Build Notes for Version 0.01.52

Updates:
  • Minor improvements and upgrades throughout.
  • Bug fix: The teacup in Client #251’s car maze will no longer trap you.
  • Bug fix: The bug that would cause some players to fall out of the level in Client #251’s car maze has been resolved.
  • Bug alert: There may be rare a crash bug in the Mac version that causes the screen to freeze. We’re in the process of trying to track it down. If you encounter this, please help us fix it by emailing us at support@nevermindgame.com with information on where and when the freeze occurred. After the crash, just quit the game and start it back up. You’ll be able to continue from the last photo you collected with a very low likelihood of experiencing the crash ever again.

Ongoing Notes and Disclaimers:
  • Nevermind is an Early Access game. As such, it is still in development and you may experience bugs or performance issues that we will continue to iron out as development continues. All content is still a work-in-progress. If you have feedback, please let us know via the Steam Community Page Discussions.
  • All voiceover audio in the Neurostalgia Clinic and “TrainSim” level is temporary.
  • Mac Yosemite users may experience some instability.
  • Nevermind is playable on Windows 7, although it is not yet fully supported.
  • Bluetooth connectivity currently works only on Windows 8. At this time, the
  • Mio Link is the only sensor that uses Bluetooth connectivity. To pair a Mio LINK with a Windows 7 machine, please use an ANT+ USB stick.
  • To support Bluetooth heart rate devices on the Windows 8 and 8.1 environments, Nevermind makes use of a small companion application. The companion application is opened and closed by the game, and can be found as a taskbar icon next to the clock during play. This companion application uses network protocols to communicate with Nevermind. Because of this, the companion app may cause a security warning on Windows 8 and/or some anti-virus software. We assure you this companion app is completely safe, and you can allow it access to the system's network. There are currently no plans or means to support Bluetooth heart rate devices on Windows 7. OS X support is planned for a future early access update.
  • There is a small known issue where the companion application will sometimes not quit with Nevermind, due to a failure in network communication between the two applications. If this occurs, you can close the companion application manually by right-clicking on its taskbar icon and selecting "Quit" from the context menu.
  • Only the TrainSim and Client #251 levels are available at this time.
  • To see an on-screen indicator of your “fear level,” go into the Options menu and select “Fear UI On.”
