Through ongoing tweaks to weapon parameters and fixes to bugs that had a significant impact on short-range weapons, the practicality of melee weapons has been greatly improved.
Additions
- Module: Fishing Spear is a high-DPS melee weapon that can be used early in the game.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed: Some melee weapons (Stinger, Pile Driver, Unicorn, Laser Needle, Blast Lance) could never hit the target when used at the edge of their range.
- Fixed: When attacking while approaching from out of range, the first shot would always miss.
- Fixed: A CAT in a confused state would attack ignoring the firing angle limit.
Other Modifications
- Changed the effect of Chest of Ray. Area damage → Fires beams in all directions.
- Merged W, X, and Y mod kits.
- The disadvantages of the skills Rapid Boot +100% and Ramming have been reduced.
- Improved readability of area damage/effect logs.
- Text displayed sequentially in dialogs now immediately follows language changes.
- Weapons with a long time remaining before the next shot will have a reduced contribution to the turn direction decision.
- Improved CAT behavior when attacking out-of-view coordinates where a static object is present.
- Added a visual effect when an object is triggered by an effect of another object.
- Event icons now change depending on the event state.
- Updated graphics for shields with Ap/Ai/At/Ae derivatives.
