Hi folks,
here we are with a new update!

First of all, we know many of you are waiting for some improvements in the game's AI and task management system. After tons of hours dedicated to it, Mikko has been working really hard on trying to get some stuff fixed. We're a bit sad we cannot come up with any improvement in this aspect on this update, the system is one of the most complex in the game. Has a lot of dependencies and is really hard to get it sorted out without a previous intense testing process in order to not cause major trouble. Mikko said he'll keep trying and will do his best, but emphasized that some help from you all will be really helpful.

And now the update, as we couldn't progress on AI soon, Mikko went on with the following great fixes. Payed especial attention to the most voted Mantis issues list (and that's the reason you're getting now a pirate flag editor in the game!):

New features

• Added pirate flag ship item (buy from sailing store, place on top mast)
• Added flag editor in ship builder (left mouse to paint, right mouse to erase) We wanna see your customized flags!
• Press interact near your pets to "pet" them
• Mount command is now called Carry/Release. Pick up pets (and crewmates) and release them (unmount) with the same button
• Shoveling now has its own separate UI command button, no longer tied to interact
• Added a new type of rare island (see if you can find one!)

Bug Fixes

• Fixed bug where it was possible to plunder enemy ship while grappling to it, resulting in drowning
• Fixed bug where some old saves could not be loaded and migrated

Minor stuff

• Added "funny" messages to the main menu
• Added a button to join the Quadro Delta live chat to the main menu (come and say Hi! :))
• Plunder and Capture command buttons are now disabled if you can't use those commands
• Updated Steam API (Achievements soon?)
• Mac OS and Linux moved to main branch
• Added a button in main menu settings to open save folder location
