Hello Friends!

We’ve got a range of updates for you including some big changes to the levelling system.

Fully Revamped Progress System

The biggest change we wanted to implement was to move away from the punishing streak based levelling system.

• Day Based Levelling System: Each day you spend meditating will now progress you through the game.
• two new skills added
• New progress screen to track your level and the growth of playne
• New screen for your track your streaks (campfire)

Dynamic Tree Growth

The tree growth stages are now fully dynamic.

Before we had a handful of separate growth stages as defined by your player level, but now you have a fully dynamic growth system. This means that your trees will grow on every single day of meditation.

Visual upgrade

There are a bunch of new visuals added to the scene. The lighting has also been improved.

Better Settings Widget

Yup, you’ve asked for it and you now have it. A new settings system which makes it easier for you to control the different aspects of the game.

• Easier to navigate
• You can also now toggle the meditation guide on and off

Interactable objects

You can now interact with objects in Playne to engage menus.

End Game Unlock

Evolve mode is now an end game unlock.

• Walk around 4 sq km of an island inspired by Scotland.
• Collect seeds from the 'Last Tree'
• Plant seeds
• Meditate to make the seeds grow into tree.
• Trees grow into your forest
• Create your tranquil space
• All players who helped Beta test Evolve will have the mode unlocked

Bug Fixes

• A lot more quotes for the meditation summary screen
• Console has been fixed. (Commands are Sanugia for our old bugged out cam, 711 to remove UI. More coming soon with mentions to our players who have helped with bug fixing Playne :)
• VR loading unintentionally
• Text mismatch on meditation level up
• Escape menu no longer loads on title screen
• Start button now works on the dialogue screen
• Bunch of typos fixed and other improvements to story tree

Evolve Bug Fixes

• Mismatched time tracking should be fixed
• Unstuck key to get yourself unstuck

Current Players Please Note
