Hello demon-slaying bandmates!

With the year wrapping up, we wanted to update you on the release of Power Chord. If you recall, we had initially planned to release Power Chord in Early Access on Steam before the end of this year. After some reevaluation, we’ve decided to forgo an early access release in favour of a full release at a later date. We feel this will allow us to bring you the grungiest, demon-crushing, deck-building game you deserve.

So this means I have to wait a whole lot longer to play?

Don’t fret! We still want to work with the community in helping put together Power Chord, and as such, we’ll be working with the community through a series of beta tests throughout 2022. If you’re super excited about being center stage for the development of Power Chord, these closed tests will offer you a great experience to play the game early as well as provide feedback on cards, features, and systems.

How can I join the beta tests?

We’ll be handling beta test access through our Discord, so if you’re interested, be sure to join here, and we’ll provide info well in advance of our first test.

Over the coming months, we’ll be using the Steam Community forum to spotlight new characters, let you know about any events we may be attending, as well as start a dev diary series where we’ll be sharing behind-the-scenes looks at the development process.
