Hello everyone,
It's been a while since we last gave any news, but rest assured, we've been very active behind the scenes! We've used this time to bring you a big update, access to game customization and the addition of new features. You can now play Power Of Pétanque as you wish!
Here's more detail on what you can find in this update:
Lobby
- [
Addition] New game customization options:
- Number of balls: Choose precisely the number of balls per player.
- Quantity of life points: Choose precisely the number of life points per player.
- Time per turn: Set the time limit per turn. You can also decide to have as much time as you want.
- Time for magic selection: Set the time limit to select your magic. You can also decide to have as much time as you want.
- Enable/Disable magic: Decide if you want to play with or without magic.
- Frequency of obtaining magic: Decide if you want to receive a magic proposal when you play several times in a row or not.
- Free positioning: Allow players to throw their balls from an area rather than a fixed position.
- Choice of magic: Define precisely which magics will be available in your game.
- Avoid duplicates: Choose whether magic suggestions can offer duplicates or not (depending on the number of activated magics, it is possible that duplicates still appear)
In-game
- [
Added] If you have enabled the free positioning option in the game settings, players will be able to throw their balls from an area extending along their side of the playground.

Added] With the TAB key
(default) you can now display, in addition to the ranking, above the players their number of balls and life points as well as the ranking of the three balls closest to the cochonnet. The number of balls and life points can be permanently displayed from the game options.

Fix] Fixed a bug where players could see their hat in first-person view.
- [
Fix] Fixed a bug preventing the player from canceling their target if they manage to validate their shot outside the playground.
- [
Fix] At the end of a turn it was possible to remain stuck in
targeted mode without being able to exit it if the player did not throw their ball in time. This is now fixed.

Fix] In teams, we have fixed the interface to more clearly display the magic possessed by your partner.

Fix] The key to switch to strategic view was not displayed when it was not your turn to play. This is now fixed.
Magic
- [
Added] New magic:
Dash. When in contact with the ground, your ball will launch towards the cochonnet. Use this power to counter obstacles deployed by your opponents.

Modification] The magic
Shield will now prevent
Teleportation in addition to blocking elimination.

Fixed] Fixed a bug that could accelerate balls infinitely when they pass through the
Swamp.

Fixed] In some cases, when destroyed, the Rock Python could eliminate the ball placed on it. This has been fixed.
Customization

Added] New set! Including a hat, armor and boots.

Added] 2 new beards.

Added] 4 new ball patterns.

Modified] New model for the
Messy beard, which needed a refresh.
Tutorial

Added] When the game is first launched, when clicking on the play button, a confirmation window has been added to launch the tutorial. The game will no longer force you into the tutorial ;)

Fixed] Fixed a bug where the menu music continued to play in the tutorial.
