UPDATE 0.50 - Double the Pleasure, Double the Points & More!

Prison Ball: Full Blown is getting updates and balancing before it goes live while it continues to wait for final approval on the build by Steam.

Here are some of the note worthy changes made in this update:

DOUBLE POINTS FOR DOUBLE PLEASURE:

To my surprise as the developer of this game, both players landing blow attacks and freezing each other at the exact same time seemed to be happening at a much higher occurrence than I would have ever guessed.. so I decided to add a whole new element to this game when this happens…

Now when both players stun each other with blow attacks at the same time, you'll see the words "Full Blown Double the Pleasure, Double the Points!" float across the screen and both players will start accumulating double the normal points when any ball their color hits a brick.

The double points will remain in effect for each player until they are hit with another blow attack.

I believe this will increase the drama and strategic aspect of the game quite a bit and feel like it's a great addition to this game!

Other changes in this update:

- Neutral balls that are blue in color that have either blue because the game just started or because they last hit a players body rather than their paddle will no longer always break bricks when they hit them. There is a small chance that they will still break bricks based on the hit points of the brick (randomly chosen for each brick at the start of the game) but most of the time, the blue neutral balls will just bounce off bricks now. Remember that any bricks broken by a neutral ball will not score any points for either player.

- The brick breakage points for both players (black and white) are now easier to see. (points scored when a ball of your color hits any brick)

- Added a "default" button the audio settings to set all the levels back to the game default settings.

- Because the game has three balls, each player is guaranteed to have at least one ball starting near them on their side of the screen. The third ball is chosen randomly on which side it begins and to help balance the game. Now, whatever player only gets one ball start near them will get around 35% to 45% of their blow attack bar awarded to them to compensate.

- Changed the look and font used on the "game over" window that pops up when the games end.

More changes are bound to come.. stay tuned!
