The major feature added to the game here is the Random Event Generator, which basically allows you to create custom random events for your game world which can impact workers and the game world as a whole. In the future, this will be fleshed out even further, allowing for other random events and effects to happen.
I want to shout out a few great mod makers in the workshop who have been using the public beta to create a whole heap of random events, which are all easily imported into existing saves and game worlds via the in-game editor:
Having tried these out in some mods, they really add a ton of life to the game world.
Other new changes:
- Added Venue Importer to editor
- Added Promotion importer to editor
- Added Titles importer to editor
- Titles will go from inactive to active on their creation date
- Relationships wont appear for workers that haven't debuted yet
- Allowed importers to work with Workshop files
- Fixed bug where AI promotions would eventually stop creating storylines
