Redout Patch 1.2.1

A total of "WHOCARES, IT'S A HOTFIX" changes from 1.2.0 to 1.2.1

Redout TheHotfix™ Edition: input.ini fixed, less crashes, more 7s.

TITLE STABILITY
  • Fixed infamous Input.ini issue that would set a null deadzone, no more ships turning/strafing on their own.
  • Fixed the weirdest crash determined by having special characters in the Windows username, lol!
  • Fixed a crash frequently happening entering a race. For some reason, it was related to cinematics.
  • Fixed a crash when entering in the option menu. For some users.
  • Fixed crash on multiplayer game invite.
  • Fixed a bug that would randomly refuse to keep your ship upgrades after rebooting the game.

VISUALS
  • Menu coloring rework, restored to its former glory. Less batcave edition now.
  • Sparks when grinding the floor should be vsisible again. We don't know. Cannot reproduce.
  • Energy bar stopped blinking when full in positional HUD, fixed.

BALANCING
  • EmpBlast worked differently against online players and AIs. Fixed and recalibrated. Looking at you, Blu.

MINOR BUGS
  • Navigating the leaderboards just after a race was not working. Don't ask how we fixed it.
  • In splitscreen, EMP blast icon on the ship HUD was not visible. Fixed.
  • The Online menu would not always open in VR, fixed.
  • Some contracts proposed DLC locked tracks. Bit of a shady marketing technique, but you should buy it anyway.
  • Trails disappeared if you restarted a race while respawning, fixed.
  • "Speed bias" label was not updated correctly in quick race when changing ship class, fixed.
  • New drops of liveries should have the correct naming convention and therefore being easily recognizable. Especially in the market.
  • Fixed a blank welcome popup on opening the game for the first time (none of you have seen this, anyway).
