Patch Notes

Early Access Update 0.851 is now live

[p]First of all, thank you to everyone who has jumped in since launch, and especially to those who took the time to report bugs, share feedback, and post suggestions. The last 24 hours alone have brought in a huge amount of valuable input, and we have been reading everything carefully.[/p][p]This update is the first of many rapid updates focused on stability, smoother gameplay, and improving the experience for new players. A large part of this patch directly comes from what the community reported right after release, and we will continue pushing updates based on what you are telling us.[/p]
[p]Changelog – Early Access 0.851[/p][p]Major fixes and most impactful improvements[/p][p]• Fixed an issue where new callouts would not spawn after finishing one
• Added a contextual keybind display to the UI (shows when the context changes or when holding Left Alt for 2 seconds — can be disabled in the settings)
• Fixed V-Sync not saving or applying correctly
• Adjusted traffic and parked vehicle spawns so vehicles now always spawn, even on low scalability settings
• Ensured player movement stays enabled when interacting with the driver of a vehicle[/p]
[p]Gameplay and AI improvements[/p][p]• Improved traffic response to emergency vehicles to be less linear and more aggressive when close, and increased the reaction radius
• Increased automatic Police AI response time to callouts to 70–90 seconds
• Added a precinct icon to the map UI
• Fixed a bug where AI characters from vehicles could not have their pistol confiscated from their pockets
• Added a safety measure to prevent AI characters that are killed from executing vehicle context requests
• AI character capsule collision no longer simulates collision while on the ground[/p]
[p]Controls, interaction, and bug fixes[/p][p]• Fixed the camera getting stuck to the hand when aiming down sights and holstering the weapon
• Added a filter to prevent retrieving other items with the right hand while holding an item
• Blocked vehicle interaction keys once exiting a vehicle has been initiated
• Escape menu can now close all interaction menus, and if no menu is active it opens the main menu UI
• Fixed the player’s lower arms clipping through the shirt while driving
• Removed the shots fired / armed individuals callout on W151st Street[/p]
[p]This is only the first step. More updates are already in progress, especially focused on improving the first minutes of gameplay, onboarding, and overall stability.[/p][p]Thank you again for the support and for helping shape the future of the project. Please keep reporting bugs, sharing feedback, and posting suggestions — it genuinely helps us improve the game much faster, and this update already proves how valuable your feedback is.[/p]
