Hey gamers ;-)
you might have heard about some problems playing the game or you even had this problem for your self. I'm very sorry for that and I think it's time for a short explanation.
The most common reason why Revenge is crashing is the lack of RAM and/or VRAM. It's caused by the fact that a lot textures (including diffuse-, specular-, normal- and heightmap) are available in a resolution of 1024x1024.
How to fix the crashes:
Lower the Texture & shadow quality, 'Ultra High' settings are for graphic cards with 2GB VRAM or more. The most useful fix is to
turn on the 64Bit mode (only if you are running on 64bit Windows version).
To turn on the 64Bit mode just open the launcher, click on Settings and right under FPS-Limit you need to check Force 64Bit. Enabling it solved the problems for the most people.
Performance update:
Besides that I started working on a new update to improve the performance. And I made a great progress.
Based on my system with a Intel Xeon E3.1231v3, Sapphire Radeon R290x Tri-X 4GB and 16 GB RAM on a 4k resolution with each settings on maximum (with constant 90FPS) in a worst case scenarioRAM utilization:Current version: 7,16GB
