[p]Ahoy mateys![/p][p][/p][p]Alongside multiple smaller updates released over the past couple of months, we've also been working on new content for a larger, more content-focused update. We're hoping to release this at least on the beta branch within the next couple of weeks but today we just wanted to go over what you can expect from that update. [/p][p][/p][p][/p]

Delivery Quests

[p]One feature we've seen requested a lot is the ability to take on delivery quests as a way to make money. While we had a few quests similar to that you could get in the game, we didn't have a full blown delivery quest system. With the next update, we are finally adding that. In seaports and towns you'll often be able to find a post office station that will have a few delivery quests for you to pick up. Some are longer distances than others and you'll get paid more based on how far you have to travel. This quest are simple but will involve you carrying cargo on your person from one post office to another. We've randomize the direction a bit of the quests you can get, so that often you'll probably find one for a direction you were already traveling. We've also added some fun little interaction events and effects with some of the delivery items while you are carrying them. [/p][p][/p][p][/p]

Treasure Hunter's Guild

[p]Along with delivery quests, we are also adding a brand new guild in this update: The Gilded Path. They are a group of treasure hunters seeking to uncover rumored artifacts and treasure. During your time with the guild you'll get to explore new and unique locations that involve you finding buried treasure, fighting new enemies, and discovering some unique loot. [/p][p][/p][p]In addition to the new content, this update will also feature more bug fixes and other small changes. [/p]
