Desert Reforged — Massive Stability & Systems Update
[p]For over a month there were no updates — because this time the focus was not new content, but stability.[/p][p]This patch reinforces the foundations of Sins of the Desert: AI behavior, ritual interaction logic, audio consistency, saving systems, and storage functionality.[/p]
🎮 Controls & Camera
[p]A collider conflict caused certain interaction keys to stop responding.[/p][p]In first-person view, the character could see themselves when rotating the camera.[/p][p]During ritual scenes, opening the menu caused animation glitches — menu access during active rituals is now properly restricted.[/p][p]The ritual focus camera sometimes failed to activate on first attempt.[/p][p]If interacting with objects during drink animations, the character could freeze.[/p][p]All interaction logic has been stabilized.[/p]
🚪 AI & Interaction Fixes
[p]AI could get stuck in navigation and only move when the player approached.[/p][p]NPCs walked through tent doors during scheduled behaviors.[/p][p]After private interactions, NPCs sometimes failed to reset to default state.[/p][p]Certain characters used incorrect movement animations.[/p][p]Approaching NPCs during active scenes could lock interaction until restart.[/p][p]Attempting to interact with non-interactive characters caused UI lock.[/p][p]AI now behaves consistently. Doors are solid. Interaction flow is stable.[/p]
🔊 Audio Fixes
[p]Character voice lines sometimes continued playing after scenes ended.[/p][p]Ambient ritual sounds were not properly localized.[/p][p]Music stop affected only the current track.[/p][p]Switching tracks did not update chat notification.[/p][p]Desert wind ambient sound was unbalanced across channels.[/p][p]Audio is now synchronized, localized, and consistent.[/p]
🖥️ UI Improvements
[p]Placeholder text appeared briefly in radial menus before loading tooltips.[/p][p]Some objects had labels while identical objects did not.[/p][p]UI color inconsistencies have been corrected.[/p][p]Interface logic is now stable and visually unified.[/p]
💾 Save & Persistence Improvements
[p]Pickup items did not retain position after restart.[/p][p]Selected item variants sometimes reset.[/p][p]Wearable and ritual items now remember their placement instead of returning to spawn points.[/p][p]Added “Save Position” option in menu.[/p][p]Your desert camp now stays exactly how you leave it.[/p]
📦 Storage System

🎵 Music System
