This update overhauls the Map menu to make it easier to read and use. Destinations are now outlined and highlighted with a cursor to clearly indicate the current selection, and it provides more reliable information on Townsfolk locations.
You may also notice townsfolk being more animated in conversation! This feature is not fully implemented for all existing dialogue, so you may see some odd poses and animations in this version.
Map Menu Updates
- Hover visual now outlines the selected building and highlights them with the cursor
- Clicking a fast travel location will keep it selected as the current destination and highlight it in green
- Locations highlights and navigation adjustments for the Locations widget
- NPC markers will now better mirror their in world position on the map menu
- Fix for NPCs not showing up in the location information while standing in the building
- Tracking options will now stay set after leaving the menu
- Showing active quests in the tracking will now show the NPC that is part of the quest, and not just hide the icon showing they have a quest
- Added more trees to the empty portions of the map
- The Homestead area will remove trees based on the land upgrades the player has unlocked
Gameplay Updates
- [WIP] Support for townsfolk animations during conversation. This is a work-in-progress, so you may see some odd animations or poses in dialogues.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed an issue where ingredients have blank thumbnails when first navigating to the recipe in the Spellbook
- Fixed animations being slowed down when the FPS cap is set to 30
- Trash Icon no longer appears briefly when a talk or interact prompt closes
- Fixed incorrect Mannequin UI thumbnails
- Mastery of an Apprenticeship no longer needs to be abandoned through dialogue
- General improvements in mentorship dialogue structure
- Fixed Zoji's habit of walking in place
