Version 0.600: Camera Updates, Sound Effects, and Bug Fixes!
Just in time for spring cleaning, today's update has introduced a long-awaited camera system revamp, finally bringing us to Version 0.600 of Spellfarers! Expect much smoother camera behaviour and better looking dialogue scenes in this release. Walls, stairs, and other terrain will feel a lot better and smoother to navigate on and around.
We've also added a ton of new sound effects for actions, another ongoing process. The audio for walking on grass also has been touched up, and for those with apiaries at their homestead, the furious buzzing of thousands of bees will be a little more subdued.

Developer Update - What's Next?
So, what's next now that we're onto 0.600 and beyond? Currently, one of our focuses is working on cutscenes for many dialogue sequences, like the personal quests for the various townsfolk. One of Jinni's quests, Smelted Souvenir, has already had this incorporated in today's update, in fact! More are in the storyboarding and development stage right now and will be making their way into the game over time to give the local townsfolk a chance for their unique personalities and stories to shine.
Beyond that, we've got a big rework of Tile Mode in the future to make decorating your homestead and placing furniture a smoother experience, so you can feel encouraged to get creative with your space and the new items you acquire over time.
