[p][/p][p]Captain and officers, a new update is touching down in the starport and the rumors are running out across the zone. With 2 new outfits, more ways to reach the Black Market, tuning for Void Engine Behemoth repair costs, fixes to the Pit Fighting storyline and adjustments to availability of late-game ship components, its a nice boost.[/p][p]If you are enjoying Star Traders: Frontiers and our on-going support of this title, please take a moment to leave a review or consider the Supporter's Badge.[/p][p][/p]
Spread the word about our new game to keep our studio going strong?
[p]We love continuing to add to Star Traders: Frontiers, but increasingly it’s sales of
Cyber Knights: Flashpoint that keep our studio going. Help us out by spreading the word? Give the game a shout-out, or recommend it to
any of your
Steam friends that like
games similar to Cyber Knights?[/p][p][/p][p][/p]
New Outfits!
[p]We are always excited to offer two new outfit styles that can be used or missed and matched with unlocked outfit combos. The military marine armor offered for some captains while a leather buff jacket with decorated shoulder pads is offered for others.[/p][p]This is always a nice way to restart the update engine - put some outfit update fuel in the tank and hit go. We hope you enjoy the new outfits.[/p][p]We are working on a matched out for the military marine armor as well for the next update.[/p][p][/p]
More Paths to the Black Market
[p]Black Market is one of the services that can be optionally triggered by a Contact's Traits. There are Contacts who always offer the Black Market (such as Spice Traders) and those that only offer it if they have certain set of Traits that indiciate high levels of greed or corruption.[/p][p]We've pushed the Trade Emissary, Trobairitz and Retired Consul into the latter category and they will now offer access to the Black Market if they have any of the following Traits: Hunna Agent, Conspirator Greedy, Corrupt, Unscrupulous or Underworld.[/p][p]Happy selling, smugglers![/p][p][/p]
Pit Fighting Correction
[p][/p][p]We resolved an old bug with the Pit Fighter V storyline today. Even if you won the final fight in the galactic fighting pits, the storyline would still eventually time out and when you returned to talk to Eryn Razor, she would berate you for letting the competition slide. This would be after you had won and gained your final reward, so it wasn't a bad one - just an oddity.[/p][p]Now fixed![/p][p][/p]
Behemoth Void Engine Repairs
[p]We've balanced the prince of the Behemoth class of Void Engines, bringing the price down so that it is thematically in line with the size of the ship that it outfits. Therefore, the 9000M Behemoth costs $900 per 1% while the 5000M costs $500 per 1%. This is not
too far from where they were, so it is a nice balance and has the most effect on the smallest and largest of the engines.[/p][p][/p]
Mistagged Late Game Components
[p]There were a few late-game ship components that were available to early in the game - specifically Thulun's Advanced Mass Dampener 6, the Daystar Railgun and the Chimera Missile Battery. Each was available before the story event that should have unlocked them went live.[/p][p]This is now resolved in all games.[/p][p][/p]
