Update #377: Exo-Suit Up

[p][/p][p]Captain and officers, word is going out through the clamor of the spice hall that another update has arrived, once again with new fancy updates, as well as fixing some bugs with XP allocation in orbital operations, improving AI ship builder use of autocannons again (fixing cases of "autocannon fever") and fixing reported crashes and typos. [/p][p]If you're out there helping us keep the flame alive in hope to reach Update #400, please share the game with a friend and be sure to leave a review to help us keep going![/p][p][/p]

Love Deep Replay, Complex System, our kind of Games?

[p]Some major commonalities run through all Trese Brothers - complex and interwoven systems, deep replay, lots of updates, rock solid saved game systems. We've found that if you like one, you probably will like another - so if you haven't checked out out newer or older titles, the Best of Trese Brothers bundle is ready for you and deeply discounted with the winter sale that is currently on - call it Cyber Trese Monday![/p][p]If you love Star Traders lore, then dive into Templar Battleforce to see the universe from another angle. If you love the tactical combats of Templar Battleforce, then dive into Cyber Knights: Flashpoint to try your tactical hand at heisting. And if you like our retro-inspired feels, check out Heroes of Steel which is and oldie but a greatie.[/p][p]Thanks for all of your support and helping our studio grow and keep making games![/p][p][/p]

Our Save Game Policy and Updates

[p align="start"]We are now including our saved game policy in all game updates so our commitment (to you!) is clear for all new and veteran players alike. Here goes -[/p][p align="start"]No saved game will ever be invalidated by an update. All new content and features will be added immediately to all saved games (with the reasonable exception of new game options). You never have to restart your save if you don't want to. This is a studio commitment that we have made and kept for many years and games. We stand by it. So do not stress about updates to your favorite space RPG or any game made by Trese Brothers.[/p][p][/p]

2 New Outfits!

[p][/p][p]For the third time in as many months, we're rolling out another 2 new outfits. As always, these can be used entirely or mixed and matched with other outfits if you unlock the outfit combos. We have a new exo-suit with a padded buff jacket and a stylized golden armor of a captain or an officer. As always, we know you love your outfits to be matchy-matchy-match, so we are working on some follow up additions that will provide the missing paired outfit.[/p][p]We hope you enjoy the new outfits![/p][p][/p]

Autocannons Again!

[p][/p][p]With Update #377, we've made another round of tweaks to autocannon purchasing by the enemy ship builder AI. We found a few paths through the builder's rules that could result in "autocannon fever" in which the enemy ship captain decides it needs autocannons and … only autocannons. That doesn't seem quite right![/p][p][/p]

Orbital Ops XP Allocation

[p][/p][p]We also found a few mismatches between the number of crew who gain XP from certain Orbital Ops cards (Patrol, Blockade, Spy) compared to the logging that is shown on screen. We've ensured these are better aligned.[/p][p][/p][p]Thanks to everyone sailing the void, playing the game and posting up reviews this week![/p][p][/p]
