Patch Notes

"The Duellists" update is now available!

Hello everyone,

The second update for Steel Division: Normandy 44 is now out, bringing new content, awaited improvements as well as some balance changes!

Two maps’ variants

As announced last week, The Duellists update grants players two new variants of the Carpiquet & Sainte-Mère-Eglise maps. They are both available in 1v1 & 2v2/3v3, in multiplayer and skirmish. They will be available in Ranked in the next few days.

Sainte-Mère-Eglise - Duellists
In the 1v1 version of the Sainte-Mère-Eglise - Duellists map, the main road acts as a symbolical frontline instead of leading to the city.

in the 2v2/3v3 version, on the contrary, you will have to share the main road with your allies to reach the town.

In both cases, players will have to reconsider their strategies in order to be victorious.

Carpiquet - Duellists
Both Carpiquet’s variants are more focused on the airfield which now covers a wider part of the map. Players will have to concentrate all their efforts on central open ground.

New 10v10 possibilities

Today’s update gives also access to Carpiquet and Pegasus Bridge in 10v10, promising even more epic battles! All 10v10 engagements can now be fought in two additional modes: Axis vs Axis and Allies vs Allies. Get ready for some fratricidal Panzer fights!

Spanish translation

The Duellists adds one more language to the game. You will have the possibility to enjoy Steel Division: Normandy 44 in Spanish.

Dedicated servers

From now on, each player can host his own dedicated server! To know more about the process, please visit the dedicated page on our website.

The Duellists update also brings some general fixes and improvements. We would like to thank you all for your feedback which have been very useful to improve our game. • Fixed a crash for invited players occurring when the search started while looking for someone to invite.

  • Fixed a display bug displaying "LIVE" on a replay.
  • Removed the ability to save a game after having surrendered, which resulted in a corrupted save.
  • Fixed the "Level up" display in French.
