Release delayed to 2022 - Development now on hold!

Due to long-term crowdfunding performance being far below our expectations, we now lack the funds to continue work on the project, and have no other option than to put it on hold, delaying release into 2022!

Development will continue when we have accumulated the funds to finish the game!

Q: When exactly might development resume?
A: It's hard to estimate, but we hope to resume work within less than 6 months.

Q: Sounds like bad planning! How did you screw up this bad?
A: We had put a lot of hope into crowdfunding as a major supporting factor in carrying the game to release;
A lot of work went into offering interesting rewards, expecting specifically the Create a Pedestrian reward to have a lot of mass appeal, being aggressively priced, and offering something totally unique!

We got some very generous Tier 3 contributions indeed, but small donations totally underperformed, not adding up anywhere near as well as we hoped.

For example, within the last 10 days, crowdfunding only brought in 3 donations, totaling up to $11.84.
We're certainly thankful to these people, but it's clear that development simply cannot be sustained at this rate!

Perhaps the problem is in the whole campaign being overdesigned.
Either way, huge thanks to those who donated, and helped us get the game this far! :)

Q: Is the game dead?
A: NO! A lot of time/money has gone into the project over the last 3 years, and it would be a huge shame to throw it all out!

Sooner or later, but SL1R WILL be released!

Q: Can I help?
A: You can still sign up for crowdfunding rewards, and anything collected there will be put aside specifically for SL1R, so we may resume sooner!
