Hello again!
So, what's going on with SL1R?
Last year, we had planned a sprint towards a "Late 2021" release, supported by crowdfunding!
Crowdfunding, however, heavily underperformed, forcing us to delay development. Clearly, we did not learn our lesson from this, as of course, such an announcement dropped the performance even further.
We simply do not have the resources to work full-time on this game, so in effect, it's back to what it started out as - a hobby project!
The fast pace of last year is gone, but progress shall continue, and we hope to reach release sometime within 2022 :)
Thanks to those who donated after September of last year, we were able to free up a few weeks, to finally solve the AI issue, mentioned in several progress updates in the past!
Speaking of progress updates…
As nice as it was to post them weekly, going forward, there most likely won't be enough progress made per week to keep them interesting as weekly posts, so unless we can seriously pick up pace again, expect them as bi-weekly posts instead for now!

List of changes
Valo City- Fixed RaceSetup map failing to appear, if Navigator was hidden at the time of display.
- After about 40 days of pain, and swearing in 5 different languages, SL1R's AI awareness is finally no worse than as seen in SLRR!
(This issue was originally expected to take only about 3 days to fix, and swearing in only two languages at most!)
- Fixed cases of AI slowing down right before the finish line at T-type intersections (and some others), by pulling center coordinates straight from SL1, rather than using recalculated values.
Painter- A minor UI fix not worth mentioning (but mentioned anyway).
- Improved the look of First person mode UI.
Misc- Reduced the chance of input 'spin-out' when using the scroll wheel for various UI features.
- An obscure improvement regarding the loading of Garage maps.
- Fixed a few cases of OSD elements not functioning as expected.
