Weekly progress update #1: Painter, cursors, checkpoints!

In short


Remaking & improving the painter, and doing various other fixes & improvements!

List of changes


Camera Rail Editor
  • Newly-added checkpoints are now auto-selected for editing.
  • Few checkpoint-related fixes.

Cursor animation system
  • More-reliable auto-cancellation of animations.
  • Patched occasional 1-frame disappearance of the cursor between/after animation frames.

Garage
  • Sped-up and tightened camera controls. Not quite enough for a sub-orbital flight, though!
  • Ability to sell the car.
  • Unlike in SL1, selling of the car doesn't make the camera confused.
  • Slight improvement to button visuals.
  • Fixed/corrected (sounds redundant, but both words apply, for different reasons :D) SELL/REPAIR button descriptions.

Painter
  • Remade the SL1 Painter look/layout.
  • With widescreen resolutions (16:10 and wider), you get 10 colors per page to choose from, instead of the normal 5.
  • With widescreen resolutions, similarly to the Parts Bin, you get 7 decals per page, instead of 5.
  • Currently selected color is highlighted in the inventory, similarly to the first-person part selector.
  • Animated cursor spray nozzle.
  • Very-basic support for adjusting spray/decal size via slider, instead of button spam. To be improved!

Misc
  • Built cars are now worth 10% more than the sum of their parts - 'Build fee' of SL1!
  • Fixed momentary OSD item Z-fighting on clicking 'Icon'-type buttons. Then- reverted this perfectly-good fix for silly reasons :D
