In short
Dead zones, box zones, camera fixes, keyboard racing!
List of changes
Options- Adjustable deadzones.
- Fully adjustable digital input filters - not only the "NONLINEARITY" (called "GAMMA" in SLRR), but also forward/back/reset speeds!
No more sticky brakes, and the steering can be set to be quick enough to easily drive without the need for Steering Help with the keyboard!
Supported by throttle, brakes, steering, and clutch.
- Selectable transmission type, with more-intuitive labels for the Auto modes.
- Adjustable steering help, force feedback, and FFB emulation.
- Display and type-in support for force feedback amount.
- A few rebindable garage hotkeys (more to come!).
Driving areas- The new first person mode is now properly integrated among the other driving camera modes.
- SL1-like camera switching behavior (F1 to cycle through car-attached cameras, F2 for chase camera, press F2 again to drop camera (and again to return to chase mode)).
- F1 camera selection is now remembered, and restored upon leaving the chase camera or photo mode.
- Fixed many bugs related to camera selection and the new first person mode.
- Improved camera reset logic.
Misc- Increased loaded resource persistence (reduced stutter/pop-in).
- Redone most city object occlusion boxes (and added a few) with much higher precision, further improving performance, and fixing disappearing objects in rare spots.
- Added a second occlusion box to one of the houses in the suburbs.
- Restored original crash SFX.
- Reverted an old addition of a physics 'cheat force' - handling is more natural now!
- Few other small physics tweaks, for more SL1-like handling.
- F1 now globally serves as the hotkey for switching to First person mode.
The streets of Valo need more personalities!
