Updates

  • Added third person attack animations to Player Character
  • Added Ultimate Power ups – Real Bear and Chest Burst
  • New culling system - This will save on rendering performance and makes an increase in frame rate
  • Rework of map generation system. Rather than picking maps from lists of empty rooms and connecting them randomly, now makes maps from pre-determined chunks (e.g., upstairs and downstairs). This should allow layouts that feel more similar to a normal house (i.e., doesn't have 5 kitchens and 9 living rooms) with better looping so you won't be hitting dead ends so often
  • Added new props to some rooms
  • When another player joins an online lobby, their bear outfit and fur now show in the Main Menu
  • Added DualSense to controller options
  • Added damage falloff to explosive damage
  • Added unicorn skin

Fixes

  • Fixed player character third person mesh t-posing whilst shooting
  • Fixed issue with ‘Shark’ enemy applying attack animation to player whilst down in online can cause player to never revive
  • Fixed issue with ‘Be Quiet’ gameplay event countdown timer stays on screen for client players in online after event complete, until countdown reaches 0
  • Fixed issue where lights would flicker on and off
  • Fixed issue with Third Person Camera not rendering certain layers
  • Fixed issue with Host Player not transiting to game over if Host Player Down and client player leaves
  • Fixed a bug where key rebinding wasn't working for controllers
  • Fixed a bug where 2 level up points would get used when levelling up using a controller
  • Fixed some UI bugs in the wardrobe that lead to the equipped and locked symbol showing at the same time
  • Fixed issue where the Remap button wouldn't get selected when using a controller
  • Fixed the bug where Steam would say the game was still playing
  • Fixed the bug where the UI message would sometimes say "sprite index=999" instead of showing the correct sprite
  • Fixed issue with equipped weapon UI changing to ‘Boom Corn’ image
  • Fixed the bug where the weapon/ammo pickup wouldn’t give the player the full amount of ammo if they had the increase Ammo perk
  • Players now stop reviving another player if they’re too far away
  • Fixed issue where music volume was incorrectly labelled volume
  • Fixed no outline around umbrella rifle in online mode

Changes

  • Reduced local file size from 11gb to 5gb
  • Changed the revive interaction to say Hold instead of Press
  • Added bonus XP for headshots
  • Player now gets more XP for shadow monster and shark kills
  • Added a cooldown to the ping system
  • Downed players now get shown the revive progress UI when another player is reviving them in online horde
  • New Rig and Animations for enemies to Improve performance
  • Ping has been switched from F/Alt to the Mouse Scroll Wheel button
  • Added ultimate steps to the tutorial
  • Reduced size of ping UI
  • Changed new night generating screen

Known Issues
  • Players sometimes briefly unable to move if at weapon pickup whilst another player is using level up station
  • Night 2 (Wave 11+) – Teleporter in start room sometimes unable to teleport player
  • Sometimes performance issues on Night 5 (Wave 40+)
  • Music sometimes jitters in game after clicking Restart
