Version 1.0.61: Quick Weapon Switching!

[p]Hi all! I promised myself that version 1.0.60 would be the last version of Telepath Tactics Liberated, but I ran into some UI annoyances while playing it on SteamDeck these past few days, and so I decided to fix them. As such, here's another update (albeit on the smaller side).[/p][p][/p]
First, a new UI feature: quick weapon switching!
  • [p]added a quick weapon selection button to the actions bar interface in the corner of the character portrait–click it to instantly cycle through a character's available weapons, and mouse over it to inspect the currently equipped weapon's properties.[/p]
[p][/p]
  • [p]if playing with a gamepad, the Right Trigger will act as a shortcut to cycle through the available weapons when a character is selected; when playing with a mouse and keyboard, the comma (,) and period (.) keys will do the same.[/p]
[p][/p]
Next, we have a few bug fixes:
  • [p]fixed: gamepad cursor alignment was off for various inventory-related and character screen UI elements when playing on Steamdeck.[/p]
  • [p]fixed: character healthbars could leave a weird visual-glitch trail during character movement when playing on Steamdeck.[/p]
  • [p]fixed: after an enemy grabbed an item sack, if playing with gamepad controls, move tiles would inappropriately appear onscreen for a second or so.[/p]
  • [p]fixed: due to the continued use of some deprecated script formatting, it was possible for both Emma and Sabrina to have recruitment conversations with Rebecca Flare during the Battle with Gunther.[/p]
  • [p]fixed in version 1.0.61a: the weapon switcher was not working when playing with gamepad.[/p]
  • [p]fixed in version 1.0.61a: when playing using a gamepad, pressing the "X" button after selecting a skill would shift gamepad focus to the actions bar, but the actions bar would remain invisible; pressing it a second time would return gamepad focus to the battlefield, but the targeting reticle from the attack would remain on the battlefield.[/p]
  • [p]fixed in version 1.0.61a: when playing with gamepad, the gamepad cursor could sometimes skip over items within a character's inventory subwindow in the reserve supplies screen.[/p]
  • [p]fixed in version 1.0.61a: when playing with gamepad, if you opened a character screen while in the reserve supplies screen, exiting the character screen would not return gamepad focus to the reserve supplies screen.[/p]
  • [p]fixed in version 1.0.61a: the gamepad cursor was misaligned on the buttons for several confirmation windows (such as the window asking if you want to auto-equip a newly given piece of equipment).[/p]
  • [p]fixed in version 1.0.61a: during battle deployment when playing on Steamdeck, the settings button appeared partly offscreen.[/p]
[p][/p][p]…and that's it![/p][p][/p]
Further News
[p][/p][p]I've been working on some really cool new stuff for a brand-new, unrevealed project; buuuut I'm not ready to spill the beans on any of that just yet.[/p][p][/p][p]What I can say for now is, you can keep tabs on new developments via our website, Discord, and forums. And while this probably really is the last update for TTL, you can still expect some neat new things to come to Together in Battle in the near future! Here's to the new adventures yet to come…[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]Yours in tactics,[/p][p][/p][p]Craig[/p]
