Day 4 : All games must patch!
Ah, the days are rolling fast, and my fingers are aching from integrating all these lovely suggestions.
Here is a bunch of features implemented since yesterday:
- The suggestion system has been greatly improved, especially on the backend side.
- A "Thank you" screen has been designed, telling supporters when their suggestions have been implemented in the game.
- Optimized Case load time.
- Much needed spam/trolling defense on suggestions implemented.
- You can now hold down Shift to prevent words going black, designed mostly for suggestors.
- Successful suggestors are treated to a happy song when they log into a patch containing their suggestions.
- Added 3.000 lines of dialogue! 40% of it directly from player suggestions.
- Work on Chapter two is well underway.
- Fixed some scaling issues for rectangular displays.
- Fixed weird anti-aliasing issue on some retina macbooks.
- Fixed even more typos.
- Fixed some unintentional inconsistancies in some story archs.
- Fixed bug that would cause Red to completely ignore all user input.
- Added "cooling" effects, allowing certain sentences to reduce the breaking levels of the suspects.
- Fixed bug that could cause the camera to get stuck behind the suspects head.
- Fixed bug that would cause the police to talk with Mrs. Blue's voice.
- Added references to Auburn and Turquoise, characters from Episode 2 and 3.
That's all I got in the bag for today's patch. Tomorrow its going to be all about adding new features to help detectives keep track of statements, and better point out controversial/conflicting statements.
