The second patch for the demo version brings a lot of UI but also game mechanics fixes and additions that will make the game feel more consistent, solid, and realistic.
Demo Update 2 Fixes & Improvements
- Added off-screen markers for moves to help avoid missing big moves
- Added off-screen markers for the currently active rider
- Added ability to use sprint specialization bonus points in reordering phase
- Added peloton movement distance limitation, 7/4 rider in P2 slipstream
- Implemented a time limit which is visible but currently not enforced yet [WIP]
- Implemented generalized bonus attack / bonus energy coming from specializations
- Implemented live-updating results board at finish, climbs, and sprints
- Implemented display of start of race jersey rankings in the rider character sheet
- Tweaked helper AI role behavior in finishes where their leader isn't present
- Fixed issue where AI riders would be assigned team roles randomly
- Fixed a rare game loading issue where game would "finish" an incomplete stage
- Fixed bug with a sprinting group landing on the same node as a finished stack
- Fixed issue in Single Race where a predefined the race type switches to custom
- Fixed rider catch-up giving riders energy
- Fixed bug where riders could have more than their maximum allowed energy
- Fixed catch-up mode not being triggered after a peloton relay rider used attack
- Fixed Start Race button showing at the end of a tour / classic
- Fixed bottom menu graphic used for settings / credit / race summary screens
Please Note: Old saves will be incompatible due to recent changes! This is to make sure all crashes and issues that are reported definitively stem from errors in the current version.
