Version 1.0 Released!

Hello everyone, it is with great pleasure that today I am releasing the game in its version 1.0 and removing it from early access.

All the initial ideas from the beginning of the project have already been implemented. The game today is a much better game than it was in the first version 0.1 BETA that was placed here on Steam on 11/01/2022.

This does not mean that the game will stop updating. Since, there may be small bugs here or there, translation bugs, among others, which I will only know after I have your feedback. So the game will keep updating whenever necessary.

In this update were implemented:

- Several graphical improvements, mainly in the scenario "Purgatorium". As you can see in the store images. Lights, contrast, sky color, fog and so on have been improved.
- Added new NPCs for interaction. Now the player can interact with the "Lost Souls" that roam the scenarios of The Search For Paradisus.
- Interactive boards have been added that are also part of the game's story. Plates that were written by "Victorious Souls".
- The amount of texts referring to the story has been practically tripled with these new additions of NPCs and interactive signs.
- The main menu has been greatly improved, and it is now possible to view in real time the change in the graphic configuration that the player chooses.
- Additional loading screens were placed, thus improving performance, helping with the transition of scenarios and avoiding choking in Cutscenes.
- The font used in the loading page and pause menu has also been changed.
- Added sounds of embers in the "Burning Bush" (tree used by "Mr. Nobody" to communicate with the player).
- Added boxes and balls with physics that can be kicked by the player.
- More translations have also been added to Simplified Chinese, thus having 95% of the texts in the game translated.

Now below is a compilation of what has changed over time with various updates since the first BETA version 0.1 in early access to BETA version 0.9 (Update before today):

- Added buttons to switch between "Window" mode and "Fullscreen" mode in the main menu and pause menu of the game.
- Spanish language support has been added.
- Fixed screen resolution when opening windowed mode.
- Significant graphical improvements have been added to the maps "Purgatorium" and "Gehenna". And a minor improvement on "Paradisus".
- A confirmation button has been added to the start menu when starting a new game, to avoid accidental clicking.
- Added a particle effect to the object called "Mors".
- The game has been translated into the French language.
- Widgets that "Mr. Nobody" uses to chat with the player have been improved.
- Added a language selection menu screen before the start menu.
- Removed language choice from the main menu, thus being more organized.
- Change in the colors of the main menu and pause buttons when hovering the mouse.
- Added some global lighting improvements.
- Change in the colors of the character's clothes.
- Changed loading screen images.
- Added support for navigating the menus with the gamepad.
- Gamepad support is complete.
- A sound has been added when pressing each menu button.
- Removed character fall damage for a significant gameplay improvement.
- Several visual effects have been added to the "Gehenna" scenario. With this, the player will be able to better locate himself on the map.
- Added some fire tornadoes in the "Gehenna" scenario that damage the character when passing through it.
- Some new platforms have been added to the "Gehenna" scenario as well to help with localization and fill the scenario a little more.
- Some crates with physics have been added to the "Purgatorium" scenario.
- Added some soccer balls in "Purgatorium" and "Paradisus" (Just a form of "purposeless but fun mini-game")
- Added new sounds when the character jumps or gets hurt.
- The texts referring to the story have also been improved.
- Fixed a missing platform in "Gehenna" and adjusted the height of another important platform in "Paradisus".
- The game has been ported and updated to Unreal Engine 5.1. With this, the game will be able to continue being developed in the latest version of the graphics engine.
- Removed one of the graphical configuration options from the main menu and pause menu that corresponded to the "cinematic" mode of the Unreal Engine and that made the game's performance very impaired in favor of a graphical improvement that was not so noticeable. Getting more balanced without this option.
- Added a few more fire tornadoes to the "Gehenna" map.
- Added Simplified Chinese language support to the menus and texts of "Mr. Nobody" found in orange trees. This represents 80% of the texts contained in the game. The other 20% is in the scenario, which is making the translation a bit trickier.
- A tribute to Brazilian football was also added in the scenario "Paradisus" and to the best player of all time who passed away on December 29th.
- Finally, several bugs of all kinds have been fixed, including translation bugs.

The work has been done and will continue to be done whenever necessary. I hope that you who saw all this, give The Search For Paradisus a chance.
