This is another small patch to address issues reported by our players. Thanks everyone!

Bug fixes

  • Fixed a few rare crashes related to certain skills and distortions (Covering Fire, Master Scout Relic on Claire, Archaeologist distortion)
  • Fixed bug where The Twins' backhand skill could be counter attacked when it is used as a counter, resulting in an infinite slap fight loop
  • Fixed first (story version) final encounter not appearing as a boss fight on the map
  • "Baby Steps" tutorial achievement should now be awarded when visiting town for the first time
  • Fixed Capacitor distortion showing counter icon on enemies
  • Fixed bug where break skill costs would not be restored when saving and reloading a game mid-run
  • Fixed Hera's Diadem relic improperly applying bonuses to Focus instead of Wisdom
  • Fixed occasional bug where Darius' gun wouldn't disappear after using covering fire
  • Fixed Ambroise's idle animation when facing up/down

Balance Changes/New Content

  • Claire's "normal" form is now called "Physicist" instead
  • Zeke's No-Sell skill now expires after taking 15% of Max HP in damage, or after 2 turns. This should help the triple wrestlers elite fight not drag out so much when they get low
  • Boss Relics are no longer craftable. You'll need to hunt the bosses to find more!
  • Mission Failure screen now shows how many particles you'll recover when returning to town
  • Rafael's Energy Lance damage ratios increased
  • Rafael's Forcefield damage conversion improved
  • Rafael's Infinity Generator MP regeneration increased greatly
  • Husk bikers in the double biker fight will always have level 1 Fighting Spirit, so they won't have too much regen
  • Teleporter encounter now always teleports you somewhere on the same x-tier and grants extra particles when you take the teleporter
  • Battle speed indicator is now always visible so it can be more easily controlled by mouse users (just click on it to cycle through speeds)
  • Abandoning a mission now rewards you with 10% of collected particles per hop you've completed (up to 50%). This allows you to quit your mission and still get rewards if you're pretty sure you're about to lose anyway
