Version 0.2.8b is now available in the beta branch, with 3 new wanderer heroes for you to rescue in endless mode, and a few other changes that we think help make things more interesting. Once we're happy with feedback and any bug fixes, this update will make its way to the main branch.

- First off, the three new heroes. These heroes are classified as "wanderers" and can only be rescued in endless mode (of any act).
Ralf, the Jester
He may be dressed like a fool, but Ralf is an expert at juggling and throwing blades with deadly accuracy, even several at a time. He can also inspire his allies into action with a jaunty tune played on his flute, if he so chooses.
Asariel, the Angel
Sent as an emissary from the Kingdom of Heaven, Asariel wields the holy powers of resurrection, healing, and protection. As an angel, she is also a warrior in her own right, imploring evil doers to repent lest they feel the burn of her Holy Blast.
Curtis, the Boxer
Jab, jab, uppercut, hook! Curtis is the master of combo punching and quick feet. Start with a simple jab and build up to a powerful combo finisher to put your opponent on the mat! Curtis is also no slouch defensively, as he powers up with an adrenaline rush or nullifies enemy attacks with a solid block.
New Reserve Party System
Another major update included in this patch is a new system that we think will make it more fun and worthwhile to take rescues and reinforcements, and help better manage stamina in an engaging way.
When you start a mission, you will now be asked to take along some reserve party members. Reserve party members do not lose stamina when in reserve, and can be swapped with another hero freely via the Party menu. Any rescues or reinforcements you gather during the mission will be added directly to reserves, so you can use them more freely immediately.

- Inn's kitchen upgrade level 3 now adds an additional reserve slot
- Redesigned the battle menus a bit to have a bit smaller text, but organize skills better
- Sped up the animation on hatching spiderlings in the Broodmother fight
- Tombstone enemy will now just kill itself if you manage to clear the field of undead
- New games will now start with a suggested party already filled in when starting the first recon mission
- George's (General) conscription skill reworked to better mesh with reserve system
- Wensho's (Monk) Zen Trance is now considered a Stance
- Odrak's (Barbarian) Primal Roar reduced to deal 1.5x Power stun, intead of 2.5
- Drex's Shield relic damage reduction reduced from 60% to 50%
- Immortal Soul relic damage reduction reduced from 60% to 50%
- Sheriff Badge relic damage reduction reduced from 10% to 5% per debuff, with a max of 35%
- Fixed crash when applying Gelatinous Goo relic to Sovras (Necromancer)
- Fixed crash when giving Claire Acrobatics skill on alternate forms
- Fixed Unravel Time Break skill to work properly
- Fixed a few descriptions that were too long for some boxes

We have also uploaded a small update to the main branch that fixes a few bugs.
