1.1.16 - Bugfix Update

New updates for TowerFall Ascension are live! This is mostly bugfixes and simple feature requests, with a few small balance changes. Thanks and keep the feedback coming!

Balance:
  • Bumping into a teammate (in Team Deathmatch or co-op Quest) will now trade an arrow to even out your arrow counts, if possible
  • Changed requirement for Massive Mythology achievement to 10,000 rounds (was 20,000)
  • Changed time requirement for Time Lord achievement to 2:10 (was 2:00)

Changes:
  • Added option to disable vsync
  • Added support for rebindable keyboard keys and multiple players on the keyboard. See "Keyboard_Config.xml" in the game's install directory. Gamepads are still highly recommended though!
  • If you hold the "Save Replay" button as the round scoreboard appears, you will now save the replay before anyone else has a chance to skip to the next round
  • Random vetoed levels (press L on a level on the map to veto it) are now remembered until the game is restarted
  • Can now press the random veto button (L) on the random map tile to quickly cancel all vetoes
  • Added popup messages on startup if your graphics card isn't good enough or you aren't running the game through Steam
  • Added "input_log" dev console command to print out GUIDs of all connected DirectInput gamepads
  • Added "input_test" dev console command to show all buttons and axes of all connected DirectInput gamepads
  • Added 3 new player-made gamepad config files - USB-to-PS2, Fighting Stick 3, and Logitech Cordless Rumblepad 2

Fixes:
  • Fixed game running in fast motion when monitor refresh rate is higher than 60Hz
  • Changed DualShock 4 iconography to match the PS4 version
  • Possibly fixed alt-tab crashes
  • The intro music now uses the Music Volume as set on the options menu
  • Added load logging. Use the launch option "-LoadLog" and the game will create load_log.txt in the game directory
  • Added "-NoGamepadUpdates" startup argument to lock gamepads to the ones connected when the game launches (may solve menu slowdown for a few people)
  • Possibly fixed rare bolt arrow catch crash
  • Fixed an infinite loading bug and various crashes on PCs in Turkey
  • Fixed drill arrows still seeking while drilling when No Seeking Arrows variant is activated
  • Fixed being able to catch arrows if you dodge right as they hit you even if you have the No Dodging variant activated
  • Fixed Cursed Dodges variant killing you after an arrow catch if that arrow was caught during the grace period after being hit
