We're excited to share the latest update of Trasmoz Legends with version v0.03.

Featuring key performance optimizations and new gameplay additions.

Here's what you can expect:

💀 Performance Overhaul!

One of the most significant improvements in this update is the complete refactor of our gamepad input system.

After identifying that the previous external library consumed nearly 45% of performance, causing stuttering and delayed gamepad responses on medium and low-end devices, we switched to an XInput-only solution.

This transition has dramatically improved the game's performance, making it smoother and more responsive across all systems.

💀 Gameplay Enhancements

* Steam Remote Play is now fully integrated, allowing for seamless cooperative gameplay.

* In-game level indicators for Infinite Mode now help you keep track of your progress during play and on the results screen.

* New selectable bezels to customize your game view, which are accessible through the options menu. (Art still WIP)

* Player control tweaks have been implemented based on community feedback, continuing to refine and improve gameplay responsiveness.

💀 Visual and Audio Updates

* Significant updates to the particle systems and VFX have been made, enhancing performance on low-end devices and paving the way for future console ports.

This visual overhaul not only boosts game performance but also stays true to the 1984-inspired aesthetic we aim to achieve, delivering a more authentic retro experience.

* Refinement of disappearing platform mechanics, alongside updated SFX and VFX, bringing a more polished and immersive experience.

💀 General Improvements

* Various bug fixes, including typographical errors and a revision of the in-game credits.

* Ongoing work on performance tweaks to further refine the game for future updates.

This update marks another important step in improving Trasmoz Legends as we continue to refine both performance and gameplay.
