🏰 Trasmoz Legends v0.9 The Final PreLaunch Update
[p]The wait is almost over. After an enormous effort, Trasmoz Legends is now
complete, polished, and ready to shine! This update is a milestone, not just for the game, but for everyone who believed in it from the start.[/p]
🔧 A better game in every way
[p]If you played version 0.04, get ready: the final version feels like a whole new experience.
Over the past months, I’ve rebuilt, tuned, and refined the game until every pixel, frame, and mechanic clicked into place.[/p][p]Here’s what’s new:[/p]
✅ NEW SYSTEMS
- [p]🏆 25 Steam Achievements
Meaningful and handcrafted, designed to reward mastery and discovery.[/p]- [p]🌍 Online leaderboards
Compete globally in Family, Classic, Speedrun, and Endless modes.[/p]- [p]📊 Final score screens
Improved scoring for both 1P and 2P, with extra co-op bonuses and rewards in bonus stages.[/p]- [p]🔁 Endless Mode expanded
Now 15 levels deep, with scaling difficulty that ramps up like a true ‘80s arcade. How many ghosts will you outsmart? How long until Mutamin crushes you? This is where the real high-score battles begin.[/p]- [p]🎯 Hundreds of gameplay refinements
From improved enemy AI to tighter controls.[/p]- [p]For example: pumpkins no longer damage you when bouncing after being hit, fixing one of the biggest frustration points I saw during retro events. This is just one of many subtle changes designed to make the game fairer and more addictive.[/p]
- [p]🎨 Visual and audio polish
Pixel-perfect sprites, sharper feedback, cleaner transitions, and improved sound mix.[/p]
[p]The result is a game that plays smoother, hits harder, and feels dangerously addictive, whether you’re a casual player or a high-score hunter.[/p][p][/p]
🕹️ The arcade cabinet is real!
[p]One of the biggest dreams of this project has come true: the
Trasmoz Legends arcade cabinet is now a fully functional, permanent machine at
El Templo del Arcade (Madrid).[/p][p]Built by
Jacaba and Lolo with absolute craftsmanship, it’s the game’s ultimate form: CRT screen, arcade controls, and pure retro energy. If you’re in Madrid, you can play it right now, the way it was always meant to be played.
[/p]
📖 The artbook goes into production
[p]With the game complete and the arcade cabinet standing, we can finally move forward with the artbook, the true closing chapter of the Trasmoz trilogy.[/p][p]This volume will include:[/p]
- [p]Early sketches and unused concepts[/p]
- [p]Alternate sprites and designs[/p]
- [p]All physical editions of the Trasmoz saga for ZX Spectrum & Amstrad CPC[/p]
- [p]The full story of the arcade cabinet[/p]
- [p]And much much more…[/p]
[p]It’s a tribute to everything this project represents, designed with the same obsessive care that went into the game itself.
[/p]
🎮 Console versions on the way!
[p]Thanks to
JanduSoft and the incredible work of
Jandu, Javi, and Marc, Trasmoz Legends is coming to
PS5, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and Nintendo Switch![/p][p]The ports are underway, and they’re looking amazing. If everything goes as planned, the game will launch on all platforms this autumn.

⏳ What’s next
[p]Trasmoz Legends is finished, but this is just the beginning.[/p][p]
Backers and early buyers on itch.io will continue to enjoy exclusive early access, as promised from the start. You’ll be the very first to play the final build before its public launch![/p]
💬 A personal note:
[p]I’ve been leading Trasmoz Legends from the very beginning, shaping the gameplay, designing visuals and levels, producing all marketing materials, managing the Kickstarter campaign, and creating the artwork for the physical arcade cabinet and digital storefronts.[/p][p]Before launching the campaign, I brought in a developer to handle the code, thinking that collaboration would allow me to focus more deeply on design and production.[/p][p]Unfortunately, things didn’t work out. The project was eventually abandoned on their side, leaving us months behind schedule and with a fragile, amateur codebase that simply couldn’t support the game we were building.[/p][p]What followed was one of the toughest creative challenges I’ve ever faced: accepting that I had to rebuild nearly everything from scratch, alone.[/p][p]Systems, mechanics, collisions, transitions, boss logic, controls… much of the game had to be rewritten, refactored, and rebuilt. In some cases, I had to do things twice. But I never gave up.[/p][p]I’ve been quieter these past months because I was deep in the trenches, pushing through, solving one problem at a time, and holding it all together.[/p][p]Thankfully, I wasn’t truly alone.
Alberto Martínez composed the full soundtrack and stayed by the project through to the end, not just musically, but as a dedicated tester.
Sergio Ferredelo has been my unwavering right hand throughout development, testing, supporting, encouraging, and reminding me why this game mattered.[/p][p]And when I finally had the PC version nearly complete,
Javi, Marc, and Jandu from JanduSoft team stepped in, making the console ports possible and ensuring that, even with almost a year of delay, we’d stay true to the multi-platform vision originally promised during the campaign.[/p][p]I also want to thank
Jacaba and Lolo from El Templo del Arcade, who brought the physical cabinet to life, building the arcade machine of my dreams and giving Trasmoz Legends a real-world presence worthy of the old-school legends.[/p][p]What you’re playing now is the result of a colossal effort, a game that had to be rebuilt under pressure, but that made it.[/p][p]
I’m incredibly proud of what Trasmoz Legends has become.[/p][p]And above all,
I want to thank every single backer, every player who pre-ordered, and everyone who supported this project along the way.[/p][p]
This game was made for you, and because of you.I truly hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed finishing it for you.[/p][p]
🎮 Trasmoz Legends is finally real.
Complete. Brutal. And 100% arcade.[/p][p]
