A new patch is now available, with the following changes.
Please let us know your feedback on the new and improved keyboard/mouse controls and 'rang throwing; as well as the changes to the camera push-in.
NEW FEATURES
- ACHIEVEMENTS: New achievements added. These will not backwards-apply. Won't list them as some may be hidden. ATM, there are 4 x more achievements
- CAMERA: First pass of "push in and fade out TY" camera code, similar to that in TY3, for if the camera rotation is being blocked by wall collision.
- KEYBOARD AND MOUSE: rang is now thrown in direction of camera (plus autotargetting)
- KEYBOARD AND MOUSE: new mouse swim controls… just hold/double tab FORWARD (default key "W") to swim towards the camera facing direction
- UPRES: Added hi-res loading screen art for B and C zone levels
BUG FIXES
- ACHIEVEMENTS: Added achievmeent check; on save game load for 9+ Lives achievement
- ACHIEVEMENTS: Added achievement check; on save game load for "Boomerang King" achievement
- AUDIO: Change to where the "rescue bilby" sting is played; so as to not take a second to start playing
- CAMERA: Fix first person camera on water too low bug
- CAMERA: Pontoon and elevator cameras working again
- CAMERA: fix gliding camera going off to nothing on long glide - accidentally deleted a critical line on the last code cleanup
- CAMERA: fix camera overrides - weren't entering properly
- CAMERA: Add ability to leave (some types) of camera overrides by using the right stick (controller only)
- CRASH: fix shader version detection/support so people on OpenGL shader 1.30 should work ok now
- CRASH: fix shaders to support 1.20 and detect shader level properly
- GRAPHICS: Fixes to TY not appearing in intro cutscenes, for the in-game cutscene system
- GRAPHICS: More fixes to video syncing and working with higher-resolution videos
- GRAPHICS: Fix problem with shadow shaders fading out the lighting unnecessarily…(only has to fade out the shadows, not the shadow lighting effect)
- GRAPHICS: fix for reflections - bug got into the code that chose which meshes to render reflections for.
- GRAPHICS: fixed fade to work on Outback Safari level
- UI: Fix for camera options enabling the wrong options, in the UI
