Since its release, Volt Patrol has taken advantage of a few patches to adjust the gaming experience and here they are :
Adjustments:
- Reducing the speed of some of the guards to give a slower timing for those passages that require speed.
- Increasing the sound volume and the size of the visual effect showing the activation of the buttons turning off the projectors.
- Added in the tutorial the fact that tight turns are not necessary to get to the end of the game as the use of this ability is not necessarily easy.
- Fill in the dead spaces in the level design that make you think you had to go through them.
- Adding marks on the ground to indicate save points.
- Reducing the drone detection perimeter.
- Different positioning of certain parking spaces and parked vehicles that made you think you had to pass through inadequate paths.
- Addition of small rocks on the ground to help locate the path of drone patrols.
- Adjustment of decryption timing.
- Added text to help you better understand decryption or parking to hide.
- Performance optimisation.
- Adjustment of the time taken by the drones to check parking spaces.
Corrections :
- Some of you who launched the game in windowed mode saw the game in 4:3 resolution by default, now the game launches well in 16:9.
- Removed z-fighting (blinking visible when 2 planes are fighting for the same position).
- A drone could be lured out of its sector and could no longer spot you. This is no longer the case.
- Modification of a music that no longer stopped.
