First Updates coming soon!
Hi friends!
First of all we want to thank the Steam community - all of you - for this overwhelming start!
We didn't expect this much feedback - neither the positive messages and reviews nor the complaints, problems or criticism.
We are two old friends from Europe, working on VR HOT on the side of our main jobs. We don't have a team, no community manager or anyone else working for us. So yes, we are struggling to keep up with your questions and demands, but we're on it.
And yes, we heard you. Asking for updates, for transparency. So here's some answers.
To get this out of the way, this is what's coming up next:
FAQs (asap - TBA)
We are working on FAQs which we will put on our website and will be linked as "Online Manual URL" on the store page.
0.5.2.1 (asap - TBA)
We can't tell a definite date yet as we are waiting for a new PC with an AMD GPU to be delivered. Several users reported a visual bug limited to AMD GPUs and we want to include a fix for this in 0.5.2.1
* several Bug Fixes
* including all 0.5.2 updates (Anal, Smooth Locomotion, Soft-body System, New Clothing System, new interactions, etc.)
0.5.3 (23.06.)
* BDSM Room
* New Interactions
* New Toys
* and more…
And here you can also see why we release some feature updates to our subscribed supporters first - although VR HOT is in the Early Access program, the standard and expectations on Steam are still very high. As you can witness in the reviews and discussions.
That's totally fine, but we need a playground for experimental stuff, where we can develop new features in a smaller, very engaged community until they are stable and solid enough to be released on Steam.
As you will see in the coming updates, Steam users benefit from this strategy by getting more reliable and stable updates. Another reason is that if you run into problems with a version, downgrading on Steam is not exactly easy.
And if you want to get even closer to the project, the developers and development, you can support us there.
We also heard you on the frequency of our updates. There will definitely be more than the 2-3/year we originally expected and planned. The first two we described above. But yes, on some feature updates there will be a delay until we feel confident about the stability and overall standard of the version.
There won't be a traditional road map. We will announce our priorities for the next couple of months from time to time, but apart from this we are working with an agile approach. Our plans will change continuously with your feedback, the market and technological development.
So, we hope we could answer some questions and make you feel more positive and optimistic about VR HOT on Steam. Keep up sending us your feedback and ideas, there is A LOT coming up in the next couple of months and we hope you are as excited about it as we are!
Take care
VR HOT
