We’re back with a Quality of Life update based entirely on YOUR feedback from the Steam forums and Discord. You've asked – we delivered. This patch focuses on improving UI, controls, and overall gameplay feel. Here’s what’s new:
🔧 New Controls & Hotkeys
- Added hotkeys for Pause Menu: 'P'
- Added hotkeys '1' and '2' to change game speed on the fly
- Added keyboard icons to the Pause Menu and Speed UI for better clarity
- Reworked the main HUD: now displays a running icon under 'W' to make sprinting visually obvious
⚔️ Axe Attack Fixes
- Resolved a bug where the axe attack [Spacebar] wouldn’t trigger on first press
- Now it's reliable and consistent
🧩 UI Improvements & Feedback Clarity
- Stat popups after gates now display precise values including decimals (e.g. +1.5 Bullet Range)
- Added a new widget that shows exact loot from destructibles (crates) — you’ll now know what you picked up immediately
🪨 Mine Interaction Tutorial
- A short tutorial prompt now appears in the first cave, telling players that gems and ore veins must be destroyed with the axe
- Tooltip on gems updated to include that information too
🎯 Auto Aim Adjustments
- Machine Gun's Auto-Aim now prioritizes bosses if they are in range, ignoring barriers or regular enemies when possible
🐞 Plus: Bug Fixes & Stability
- We also crushed a bunch of small bugs, including:
- UI click focus issues (clicks now register properly)
- Entity misbehaviors (e.g. Rush Injector is now stable)
- Minor performance boosts and better control responsiveness
