Welcome, soldiers of Ashird, to yet another update! This is Miore. Today's update will be a bit shorter than you're used to—mostly because of the type of work we've done this past month. In particular, we focused on adding Kumiho-chan and George into the main plot (alongside their unique content), creating roadmaps for the prologue and Demonic Route (including what they should look like and how they should affect the player), and refining the demo script.
Since we can't show or describe much of that, we'd like to share a few of the in-game illustrations with you. As a reminder, there are over 60 of them—and each was painstakingly crafted by none other than Hai-san! (@

As always, we'd love to hear your opinions!
Furthermore, while we're still discussing art and artists, I'd like to inform you all that we have an important announcement to make next month. Please remember to read the April update if you can!
Finally, as many of you know, we can't post an update without also showing off a 3D model. In keeping with this tradition, we'd like to present…
Ceredian soldiers!Q&A:Q: Will there be cooking and fishing in War of Ashird?
A: Our team believes that if we do something, it should both have a purpose and be enjoyable to the player. A shallow system that's there only for its own sake isn't acceptable to us, but our development time is too limited to create worthwhile cooking and/or fishing. As such, we've decided to devote that time to improving the town-management system; otherwise, we'd be leaving it half-finished to implement something barebones (and possibly boring). In short, because we can't put in the amount of time and effort that we'd like, we think it's better not to implement such systems at this time.
Thank you all for reading today's "tiny" update. To make up for its short length, next month's will be much larger—and will also be presented by yours truly!
