The Ghosts of K’aresh content update is here and the Arena World Championship (AWC) and Mythic Dungeon International (MDI) return for The War Within Season 3! Prepare for fierce Arena clashes beginning October 3, and join the race in Mythic+ with Time Trials starting October 1.
In Season 3, the AWC will once again feature three qualification Cups per region, leading into the AWC Gauntlet and Grand Finals with a combined $200,000 (USD) prize pool.
Teams in Europe and North America can register now on Raider.IO for The War Within Season 3 Cups, where they’ll not only fight for their share of $20,000 (USD) per Cup but also for valuable points toward qualification. Competitors who sign up will earn the new Season 3 Astral Champion’s Prestigious Banner, exclusively available through AWC participation.
Following the Cups and Gauntlet, the top four teams from each region will advance to the AWC War Within Grand Finals, where they’ll battle for their share of the $200,000 (USD) prize pool and the title of Season 3 champions.
The MDI also returns to full force in Season 3, continuing its focus on Mythic+ key pushing as the cornerstone of competitive Dungeons. Registration is now open, with Time Trials beginning October 1.
Players who sign up via Raider.IO will gain access to the Tournament Realms and unlock the in-game Season 3 Unbound Banner of the Algari. From the Time Trials, the top 18 global teams will advance to the MDI Groups.
The Groups format has been adjusted slightly to feature six teams competing at once with daily eliminations, new dungeons, and a modified spec variety rule with $30,000 (USD) in prizing on the line for each Group. The six best teams from the Group Stage will join two representatives from China to face off in The War Within MDI Global Finals for their share of the $300,000 (USD) prize pool and the title of MDI Global Champion!
