Game Update – New Features and Fixes

[p]Hello everyone!
I’ve just released a new update for the game. It includes many fixes and improvements suggested in your feedback and reports. Below you’ll find an overview of the most important changes and new features.[/p][p][/p]

New Features


Ship Levels and Stat Progression
[p]Ships now have new statistics that can be improved by:[/p]
  • [p]leveling up the ship,[/p]
  • [p]upgrading the ship,[/p]
  • [p]installing modules.[/p]
[p]Each ship has 5 upgrade levels, which increase its combat and utility capabilities.[/p][p][/p][p][/p]
Modules
[p]I’ve added dozens of modules that can be obtained from crates and defeated enemies.
The stronger the enemy, the higher the chance of obtaining a better module.[/p][p]Each module has 5 progression levels that increase its effectiveness.[/p][p][/p]
Escorts
[p]You can now have up to 8 escort ships.[/p][p]The escort system is based on command points – the larger the ship, the more points are required to control it.
Command points are developed individually for each ship.[/p][p]The escort panel allows you to define ship behavior during combat:[/p]
  • [p]Passive – ships only follow your unit[/p]
  • [p]Attack my target – they attack the enemy you are shooting at[/p]
  • [p]Attack nearest target – they select and attack the nearest enemy[/p]

Recycler
[p]A new ship type has been added – Recycler.[/p][p]You can send it to debris fields, where it will automatically collect drifting wreckage and transport it back to the base.[/p][p][/p]
Research Center
[p]Added a new building that allows you to research discovered technologies.[/p][p][/p]
Technical Dock
[p]Added a new building that allows you to upgrade the levels of collected modules.[/p][p][/p][p][/p]

New Base Raid Mechanics


[p]I introduced a new base raid system.[/p][p]When the red bar in the bottom-left corner fills up, the global threat level increases by 30%.[/p][p]After the time defined in the difficulty settings (minimum time between attacks) passes, an attack on the main base occurs, during which a mini-boss appears.[/p][p]The system includes 10 raid levels, with each subsequent one becoming more difficult.[/p][p][/p][p][/p]

New Red Signal Mechanics


[p]I changed how red signals appear.[/p][p]Previously, red signals appeared only after building a combat ship or a defense turret.
Now they appear when the sector threat level exceeds 20%.[/p][p]Additionally, besides occasional raids, squadrons of enemy fighters now appear and fly toward pirate bases.
If they encounter your units along the way, they will attack them.[/p][p][/p][p][/p]

Colored Signals


[p]A colored signal system has been introduced that determines difficulty level and rewards.[/p][p]Available levels:[/p]
  • [p]Green[/p]
  • [p]Blue[/p]
  • [p]Purple[/p]
  • [p]Gold[/p]
[p]The higher the signal level, the greater the challenge and the better the rewards.[/p][p][/p][p][/p]

Various Changes and Fixes


[*][p]Changed the resource generation system on asteroids – a single asteroid can now contain multiple resources (e.g., nickel and silicon).[/p]
[*][p]Updated the tutorial to match the new structures and mechanics.[/p]
[*][p]Ammunition from destroyed enemies is now automatically transferred to your inventory.[/p]
[*][p]If escort ships participated in destroying an enemy, the ammunition is shared between them.[/p]
[*][p]Ammunition and fuel are automatically replenished when:[/p]

    [*][p]you enter a ship,[/p]
    [*][p]you build a ship,[/p]
    [*][p]you issue a return-to-base command.[/p]
    [*][p]Each ship can now have a set amount of fuel and ammunition for automatic resupply.[/p]
    [*][p]Combat ships with pilots automatically launch to defend the base during an attack.[/p]
    [*][p]Materials added to the construction planner can now be transferred to the ship container with one click.[/p]
    [*][p]Added the ability to construct prefabricated buildings that can be transported by ship to colonies and built there.[/p]
    [*][p]The character now has a Mechanic skill, which determines the repair speed of structures.[/p]
    [*][p]You no longer need to clear the production queue to start producing something else.[/p]
    [*][p]Fixed a camera issue in the ship cockpit view.[/p]
    [*][p]Updated some of the sound effects in the game.[/p]
    [*][p]Added the ability to delete old save files.[/p]

    Scanned Asteroids Panel
    [p]The asteroid panel has been expanded with several new features:[/p][*][p]Showing and hiding asteroids with disabled markers.[/p]
    [*][p]A list of destroyed pirate bases.[/p]
    [*][p]A list of unexplored asteroids where items were left behind.[/p]
    [*][p]A list of sectors without asteroids where wreckage is drifting.[/p]
    [*][p]The ability to send a Recycler ship to clean the sector.[/p]
    [*][p]Clicking an asteroid name opens the colony panel and allows remote structure upgrades.[/p]
    [p][/p]
    Fleet Panel
    [p]Clicking a ship name in the fleet panel now opens the panel of that specific ship.[/p][p][/p]
