Here are the version 1.0.9 patch notes:
IMPORTANT CHANGES:
- Completely new controls section in the options window.
featuring: key bindings for keyboard & mouse.
- Shader optimization (for smoothness 0)
Optimization for the shader when smoothness is put to 0. This should result in a frame rate boost for anyone who's experiencing low fps and playing on lowest settings.
- Added an option to set the graphical settings to lowest, custom and highest, to make it a bit easier to quickly pick settings that match your specs.
- Game no longer displays the low fps warning when you're using the lowest settings (vsync off, smoothness 0).
- Switch between gamepad & keyboard mode by pressing a button on keyboard or gamepad.
- When choosing the XBOX controller preset, the hotkeys in your inventory will display as XBOX buttons instead of PS buttons.
DLC CHANGES:
- SHOP DLC: Added detective hat and a monocle to the OCSEDEO'S shops.
- WALLPAPERS: Added the steam banner in 1080p and 4K.
FROM HERE ON SPOILERS SMALL CHANGES :
- The newspaper suit no longer shows the reticle if you're in the wrong room.
- There were some hiding spots that could be exploited in Bankkrent phase 2, which have been removed.
- Bankkrent's phase 2 special bullet storm pattern for an attack has been altered a bit.
- Bankkrent's bullets are slower, and now also explode when hitting the ground.
- Added autosaves pre-Bankkrent phase 1 and post-Bankkrent phase 1.
- Ignore low FPS warning
The reason we wanted it in there is because playing the game with lower fps doesn't slow down the sound, resulting in lots of animations not being in sync with the sound. Especially later in the game this can lead to some particularly awkward cut scenes. Another reason is that Wuppo is supposed to run on 60fps, but not everyone notices that. Many games still play in 30fps. We've seen lots of people make the conclusion that Wuppo just plays very slow, which in our opinion, completely ruins the experience. So we highly recommend to lower your graphical settings if you aren't getting a stable 60fps. However, if you're aware of all this and you still want to play it on high settings, you can now edit the file called "Wuppo_config.ini" located in %localappdata%/wuppo/ And change "ignore_framerate" from 0 to 1.
FIXES:
- An error that came when bulk selling when clicking too low on the bag has been resolved.
- Historian Achievement didn't get activated (if you already had every filmstrip, you can re-watch a filmstrip and it will get activated ).
- Some of the happiness achieved from collecting all filmstrips in an area didn't work correctly (if you've missed anything, it's fixed after re-watching a filmstrip if you have all of them).
- Bram (goggled wum) didn't count as a boss in the progress window.
- A chance to get an error while busting wums out of jail has been fixed.
- Buying hooks from Hendrick was a bit too cheap, as you you were able to sell good hooks for more than you bought them in a short time.
- Dialogue choice box didn't disappear when you talked to City Hall members while a new discussion started.
- There were some frame drop issues when alt+tabbing out and in the game. Now all shaders will reset when tabbing back into the game, hopefully that way we can avoid most of these frame drop moments.
- Game now loads your brightness settings when restarting the game.
- An error that appeared when performing Redav Kned's ritual while having a low framerate has been resolved.
- You can no longer perform the 2nd Redav Kned ritual multiple times.
- Hendrick Fisher no longer stops talking after buying a hook from him.
- If you stood directly above the popochipcard when stealing it, while getting caught by Lans & Merik, you got stuck in the bowl.
- Graphical error when standing inside one of the trash containers in Old Town.
